He might be facing extradition to Sweden, or even the U.S. (where he’d risk the death penalty), but Julian Assange doesn’t give up : he’s now examining secret documents given to him by a former Swiss banker about the offshore accounts of 2000 extremely wealthy bastards on the planet…
Whereas targeting vital national interests (with possible repercussions on the general public) by condemning certain diplomatic practises of specific States was morally and intellectually questionable, Assange’s new hobby horse, though it’s even more controversial, might prove to be really beneficial to democracy.
